Salman Khan has weighed in on the contentious farm laws and the ensuing demonstrations. He said that whatever is the most right course of action should be taken.

Actor Salman Khan is the most recent Bollywood celebrity to respond to farmer protests against the three farm laws. According to the actor, whatever was the right thing to do should be done.

After international music star Rihanna and Swedish teen environmental activist Greta Thunberg backed the farmers, the topic gained traction.

At a recent case, the paparazzi questioned Salman about his thoughts on the matter. Spotboye quoted him as saying, “The right thing should be done.” The most appropriate course of action should be taken. The noblest deed should be carried out.”

Rihanna posted a news article about the topic earlier this week, writing, “Why aren’t we talking about this?! Farmers are protesting using the hashtag #FarmersProtest.”

The hashtags #IndiaTogether and #IndiaAgainstPropaganda were used by a number of Indian celebrities, including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and cricketers including Virat Kohli.

“Don’t fall for any false propaganda against India or Indian policies,” Ajay Devgn wrote on Twitter, sharing his thoughts. At this hour, it’s critical to stand together and free of infighting. #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda.”

Kangana Ranaut, Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu, and Richa Chadha are among the other celebrities who have spoken out about the contentious subject. In reality, Kangana and Diljit, who are on opposite sides of the debate, had a tense Twitter exchange. Kangana Ranaut has been tweeting about Rihanna, Greta, and other Indian celebrities including cricketer Rohit Sharma and Taapsee Pannu. Two of her tweets were later removed by Twitter due to a rule breach.

This is the first time Salman has spoken on the subject. The actor has mostly been busy shooting for his upcoming project, Antim. The film sees him play a Sikh cop. He is paired opposite Aayush Sharma, the latter playing a negative role in the film.
