A new ‘log out’ option will be available with multi-device support in the current WhatsApp beta update.

For quite some time, WhatsApp has been focusing on multi-device support. This will be a significant feature for WhatsApp because it will enable users to use one account on multiple devices at the same time. This multi-device support would include a new feature, which has been discovered.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.21.30.16 includes a new ‘Log out’ feature. This function is said to be part of multi-device support, and it can be used to log out of several connected devices, as the name implies. WABetaInfo also posted a video of the latest feature in action. It takes the place of the ‘delete account’ choice on WhatsApp’s connected devices gui.

This feature would effectively allow users to log out of all of the devices to which their WhatsApp account is linked. According to news, WhatsApp is planning to add support for up to four devices per WhatsApp account. When the function is officially released, the device will change. This is distinct from WhatsApp Web in that it would accommodate smartphones and tablets. It also won’t need the main device to have an active internet connection.

When multi-device support is available, the latest log-out feature will be included. This feature currently works without issues for both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Company, according to WABetaInfo. It’s available in the most recent WhatsApp iOS beta, but it’s not yet visible to public beta users. WhatsApp is planned to be released for Android as well.
