Billie Eilish has always been a fan of Justin Bieber’s music. Billie cries while reading a text from Justin Bieber after meeting at Coachella in her new documentary. Billie’s love for him “touched my heart,” he says.
Billie Eilish, 19, is the first to admit that she enjoys Justin Bieber’s music. Billie Eilish: The World Is A Little Blurry, an Apple TV+ documentary, shows Billie meeting Justin for the first time after her Coachella performance in 2019. They meet in the midst of a throng, and she is initially hesitant to hug him. She’s in a state of ecstasy. She finally hugs Justin, and the two hug for a long time.
She breaks down in tears as she recounts the epic moment on the way back to her hotel. “I basically cried for like 5 minutes in his arms,” she says. Later, Justin sends her a heartfelt text message that has Billie in tears as she reads it.
Justin begins his text with, “It’s moments like tonight where I’m reminded what I mean to people.” “I was moved by your love for me. You are truly unique. Not because of what you can do, but because of who you are. Keep that in mind. Your aura and personality have left a lasting impression on me. You’ve been given a difficult task. To so many people, you are a hero. I’m looking forward to seeing you succeed. You are one of a kind. Thank you so much for tonight. It meant the same amount to me as it did to you. I just want to remind you that it feels like yesterday… It feels like yesterday I was singing… Yeah, yesterday I was 15 and singing “One Time,” and now I’m 25 and it feels like yesterday. Take in the moment of what you’re doing. Embrace it all, believe you are great, but not greater than anyone.”
Billie discovers earlier in the documentary that Justin wants to work with her. He sends her a DM, and she asks her family for advice on how to act. After all, it’s Justin Bieber. She doesn’t want to turn down the opportunity to work with him.
Billie admits, “He might ask me to kill my dog and I will.” Since she’s such a fan, she doesn’t think she’d be able to handle a new song with him. She decides she wants him to participate in a remix of “Bad Guy.” “You could basically jump on this song and just say ‘poop,’ and I’d be pleased with that,” she answers to his DM. When Justin and Billie collaborated on a remix of “Bad Guy,” it was an instant success when it was released in July 2019.
Justin and Billie’s relationship is still going high in 2019. Justin FaceTimes her after her incredible Grammy wins for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and more in 2020. He tells her, “I’m so proud of you.” It’s the ideal way to round off her perfect evening. Beginning February 26, Billie Eilish: The World Is A Little Blurry will be available on Apple TV+.
