Is David Letterman’s career coming to an end? David Letterman is skating on very thin ice, and his show may very well be cancelled by Hollywood.
There is an increasing backlash against his treatment of female guests on his programme, and Paris Hilton has recently added her voice to the fray.
This comes at a particularly inconvenient time for Letterman, given Jennifer Aniston’s fans’ outrage over a recently resurfaced video of his 1998 interview with the actress, which portrays some upsetting conduct.
Of course, now that the can of worms has been opened, viewers and critics are able to look back and see a slew of instances where Letterman went too far with female celebrities on his show.
It wasn’t long ago that the #MeToo campaign made headlines, and when this tale unfolds, it bears an eerie similarity to the #MeToo movement.

Paris Hilton Speaks Up
Paris Hilton is speaking out about her encounter with David Letterman, sharing an extremely awkward moment she had while on his show. Letterman decided to keep the subject off-limits after she turned down offers to appear on the show because she didn’t want to discuss her time in prison in public. Paris was invited to his show to talk about the launch of her latest perfume… or so she thought.
As it turned out, the promise he made to support her avoidance of the subject was easily broken, and he proceeded to press her for details about her time in prison, bringing the subject up again and again. She recently spoke out about the incident, calling it both “cruel” and “haunting.”
That Moment With Jennifer Aniston….
Fans also uncovered a video from 1998 showing Jennifer Aniston’s gross mistreatment on David Letterman’s show, contributing to the argument against him. During the interview, Letterman starts to act oddly and approaches her personal space without notice. Aniston was clearly embarrassed when she politely rebuffed him, and then Letterman did the unthinkable. He leaned in close and snatched a strand of her hair into his mouth, then licked it.
Mariah Carey & Many, Many Other Instances
Now that fans are aware of the situation and are seeing Letterman in a new light, more examples of crass, racist acts from the past are surfacing.
This includes the time he refused to let go of Mariah Carey’s hand amid her repeated attempts to break free, as well as an episode in which he pressed Janet Jackson to talk about her Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction despite her apparent reluctance to do so.
These are only a couple of the possibilities.
More and more female celebrities seem to be expressing their complaints against Letterman, claiming that they were abused, disrespected, and grossly mistreated by him.
