Olivia Culpo has been dating NFL star Christian McCaffrey since May of this year, and she recently announced that she and her beau bring out the best in each other while hosting the Stella Heartois Experience in Los Angeles.
On February 13, Olivia Culpo, 27, hosted the Stella Heartois Experience in Los Angeles, which was sponsored by Stella Artois and Bumble. At the pop-up case, the model and actress sat down for an EXCLUSIVE interview with Diginews. Olivia beamed when the conversation turned to her boyfriend, NFL star Christian McCaffrey, 23, and why he’s such a good fit for her. “With him, I would say we just really complement each other,” she told Diginews. “We share a number of similar interests. We’re a really close-knit team, and we certainly bring out the best in each other.”
Olivia has been dating Christian, a running back for the Carolina Panthers, for almost a year and the two have shared several sweet moments on Instagram together. Olivia’s fans know that no matter who she’s dating, she’s devoted to her girlfriends. And, since the “Stella Heartois Experience” took place on Galentine’s Day, we had to ask her how she manages to maintain a healthy balance between her friendships and her romantic relationships. Olivia told HL, “I think sisters before misters is a real thing.” “It’s undeniably challenging to strike the right balance. Even in your personal relationships, I believe your friends are there to keep you grounded. So if you keep that in mind, I believe you’ll always be able to strike the right balance.”
“Galentine’s Day is, in my opinion, the greatest invention ever. I’m not sure if it’s really called an invention. But I really celebrated it with my friends last week, and I think it’s a very important moment for women to note that they’re characterized not only by their romantic relationships, but by all of their relationships, and I believe that in this age for women, we’ve never understood the value of your friendships more than we do now. Women helping women and just getting each other to rely on, and Galentine’s Day is the ideal time to recognize that.”
Of course, celebrating Valentine’s Day is just as much fun, and Olivia told HL that she’d be spending the day with Christian — but she didn’t know much else because he’d be surprising her. “It’s a pleasant surprise. So far, I’m not sure what we’re doing, but I’ll find out tomorrow. Valentine’s Day is one of my favourite holidays. I enjoy all of the holidays. I’m all for any excuse to spend time with friends and family.”
With that mindset, it makes perfect sense that Olivia was chosen to host the immersive dining event, because, as she told HL, “Tonight, we’re choosing to live the Life Artois, which is all about celebrating special moments with people that you love, savouring moments and doing that over a Stella. So what better holiday than Valentine’s Day to really appreciate your friends and family and your loved ones in whatever way you can. And just have an excuse to celebrate and have a good time.”
If you want to see ‘The Life Artois’ up close and personal, Stella Artois will be triggering in key cities around the United States in 2020. The Port de Stella festival series has a number of enjoyable activities scheduled, including a music festival.
