Adam Perkins, a former Vine star, died on Sunday, April 11. Patrick, his twin brother, announced the news on Instagram.

Patrick Perkins‘ twin brother, has died, according to Patrick Perkins. Patrick announced Adam’s death on Instagram in the early hours of April 14, revealing that he had died three days before (April 11). Following the announcement, Patrick shared some pictures of himself and Adam from the past, which drew a flood of support from fans.
Patrick admitted, “I can’t even put into words what this loss means to me.” “Being a twin is a very important part of who I am. That’s all I’ve ever seen. And I’m at a loss for words to describe how it would be for me to live in this world without him. “You are my best friend.” Find out more about Adam, who was just 24 years old at the time of his death.

Adam’s Vine Videos are his most well-known works.

In 2014, Adam began his social media journey with the app Vine. Adam’s most famous video was released in 2015, and it featured him mocking the chain restaurant Chili’s “Welcome to Chili’s” greeting. He used the catch while walking into the bathroom in his boxers in the video. Other users on the site reenacted and remixed the video.

Adam used to be a musician.
Music was one of Adam’s biggest loves. Fans will continue to listen to his music on his Spotify website. He did not promote his album Latch Relay, which he released in 2018. After Adam’s death, Patrick announced that a limited edition vinyl of the album will be released. In honor of his brother, he founded the record label Plas Teg.

Adam dated Kelton Elliott in the past.

This past weekend my forever best friend and ex-boyfriend passed, and I’ve been devastated. We spent almost every day and night in 2020 and 2021 together in our little home until I temporarily relocated to Oregon. We were there for each other during the hardest year of our lives. I could and have talked about him for hours, but I’m just saying one thing right now: Me and him discussed how we’d want to be remembered after we died, and he said he’d like to be remembered for his art, his music. The second slide is a screenshot of Redwood Reverie, the track on Spotify he most liked sharing with his coworkers and friends. It’s from his 2018 album Latch Relay, and it’s one of my favorite songs of his along with The Engine and Graduate. Last week he was working on more to release. Give his music a listen, and know that the artist was loved so so so much. The link in my bio takes you to his Spotify.

After Adam’s death, his ex-boyfriend, actor Kelton Elliott, paid tribute to the social media star on Instagram. Kelton admitted, “I’ve been devastated.” “Until I briefly moved to Oregon in 2020 and 2021, we spent almost every day and night together in our small house. During the most trying year of our lives, we were there for each other.” Kelton went on to say that he and Adam had spoken about “how [they] would like to be remembered after [they] died,” and that people should listen to Adam’s music because that’s what he would’ve liked.

Adam was an analyst at the time.
Adam had a “true work” in addition to his music career before his death. In March, he wrote on Instagram, “Remember Adam from Vine?” “He’s now 24 years old and works as a data analyst. Do you think you’re getting old?” In his Instagram profile, he also called himself a “spreadsheet wizkid.”
