On Friday, April 23, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik celebrated her 26th birthday, which also happened to be her first birthday as a mother. The 28-year-old British singer and the model, who have a baby daughter named Khai, were seen in New York City that night waiting for their dinner at the Gorilla Cheese NYC grilled cheese food truck. Zayn had his arm around his girlfriend and naughtily laid his hand on her buttocks at one point.
“They stood together for about five minutes while waiting for their meal, never letting go of each other’s grip. He took her hand in his and whispered something in her ear. He was still by her side. They chatted with friends for a few minutes after their grilled cheese sandwiches were ready before going back inside together “E! News received a report from an eyewitness. “She was laughing behind her face mask and seemed to be having fun with a small group of friends at her birthday party.”
Bella Hadid, Gigi’s sister and fellow model, was among the guests, as was Mimi Cuttrell, Gigi’s stylist.
She posted a picture of the birthday girl’s cake, which was made to look like a giant block of cheese, to her Instagram Story.
Gigi had previously shared a picture of a beautiful floral arrangement that Zayn had given her for her birthday on her own Instagram Story.
Gigi and Zayn have been together for more than five years, on and off. They welcomed baby Khai in September and have posted pictures of her without revealing her face on occasion.
In an interview with the iHeartRadio show Valentine in the Morning in March, Zayn discussed life as a new father.
He said, “Honestly, it’s great.” “‘It’s going to be a huge transition, and it’s going to be a major shift and stuff,’ a lot of people I was talking to before she was born said. But, in all honesty, she’s a fantastic girl.”
He went on to say, “It’s been incredibly simple for me and G to ease into it. She’s made it a little easier for us; she sleeps soundly and enjoys her milk. At the moment, all I’m doing is feeding and changing diapers. It’s a riot. I’m having a good time doing it.”
